Garden
So you always hear "grow a garden". This is the first year in several years where we have been in one place for a whole summer. So... I tried to grow a garden. We are just renting so I tried to do it in planters. Basically- not worth the effort or money. Maybe it would be different if it was in the ground??? I did get three little cherry tomatos and I think I will get a few more before it gets too hot.

Time Flies
Time sure has been flying by! Here's a few pictures of the kiddos from the past month.
Lily likes to try on Papa's shoes. She can't really walk in them but she likes to put them on and stand up in them.
One day the kids were playing with the sidewalk chalk. They discovered that if you rub it on the ground and then get it slightly wet, you can then rub your hands in the wet chalk and transfer the results to your hair. It leaves simply beautiful colors in your hair.
Ollie loves to eat asparagus.
Lily takes her hair out every day that I do it. I have a limit on how much I can handle redoing her hair. As a result, most of the time her hair looks undone. For those that see her often... just know that in the morning, her hair looks like this. I do at least comb it every day. :)
We've played lots of dress-ups lately. One day Ollie tied a shoelace around his waist and Lily's wrist. Lily then got to follow Ollie all around the house. She was a good sport about it for a while but then she wanted to be on her own.
Ollie and Lily playing in the swimming pool the Easter Bunny brought them.
Dieing Easter eggs. Lily was very interested in the process. She especially enjoyed stirring them.
Lily and her friend Kenny. These two really like to play together. He was really interested in her bow.
A cute picture of the kids taken by a friend.
