Easter Best

One great thing about two little girls is matching dresses! Papa and Ollie also got new ties with matching colors.

Tornado Alert

Spencer and I were watching a movie when we heard the tornado warning. We quickly turned everything off and turned on the radio. The radio warned us that a storm was coming and told us to get to shelter before the storm hit. We gathered our supplies and hauled all the kids into the bathroom. The kids slept through the whole thing. We spent an hour in the bathroom until the storm passed us. Luckily, no tornado's. Also lucky that just the day before we had practiced a tornado drill for family home evening. We knew exactly what to do! :)
During the practicing Lily kept saying, "If the tomato comes we get in the bathtub." I'm sure she's having visions of tomato's coming and knocking on the door and we all hide in the bathtub. :)

Fort Worth

We had a pleasant trip up to Fort Worth a few weekends ago. We drove up and met our friends at the Botanical Gardens. We had a nice walk through the gardens then finished the afternoon with a wonderful picnic and some Frisbee and football. We really enjoyed visiting with the Walkers and seeing the beautiful gardens. It's always fun to spend time together!

Lily's New Bike

A few weeks ago we were in Walmart shopping. We saw this pink and purple tricycle. Lily saw it and said very excitedly, "A pink bike!" I replied, "Do you want it?" Her eyes just lit up as I put it in the cart. She is still learning how to get her feet to go around in circles but she sure likes it.
